YOUR HOLIDAY ITINERARY
DAY 1. Join the overnight flight via Madrid to Santiago.
DAY 2. Upon arrival we will transfer you to your centrally located hotel in Santiago, the cosmopolitan capital city of Chile, for two nights. This afternoon we include a tour of the city featuring highlights such as Club Hipico, Cousino Palace, the Pre-Columbian Art Museum and San Cristobal Hill, from where you can enjoy fabulous views of the city.
DAY 3. A day at leisure for further exploration of Santiago. Alternatively, join a fascinating full day optional excursion to the picturesque waterside city of Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.
DAY 4. This morning you can join an optional excursion to Santa Rita Vineyard or to Concha y Toro and the Maipo Canyon. This afternoon, transfer to the airport for a flight to Puerto Montt. Upon arrival we will continue to the charming city of Puerto Varas, situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Llanquihue and surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes, for a one night stay.
DAY 5. Travel by coach to lovely little town of Petrohue, passing Ensenada and the mystical Petrohue River with its impressive waterfalls and rapids. From here we will board a launch for a journey across spectacular Lake Todos Los Santos to the sleepy mountain hamlet of Peulla, where we will stay overnight. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.
DAY 6. A fantastic day travelling through the breathtaking beautiful Lakes District. Leave Chile and cross into Argentina, journeying over the Perez Rosales Pass to Puerto Frias. Take the boat across Lake Frias to Puerto Alegre and continue by coach to Puerto Blest. Here we will join a second boat, crossing Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Panuelo, from where a final coach journey to the popular city of Bariloche completes the day. You will stay here for two nights.
DAY 7. This morning we include a fascinating half-day tour along edge of the captivating Nahuel Huapi Lake. Later this afternoon we will return to Bariloche for time at leisure.
DAY 8. Transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, where we will stay for two nights.
DAY 9. Today we include a half-day tour of the elegant city of Buenos Aires. Our tour will feature many of the city’s highlights including Colon Theatre, San Telmo, Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, La Boca District and Plaza de los dos Congresos. Remainder of the day free in Buenos Aires.
DAY 10. Time at leisure, or join a full day optional excursion to Gaucha Santa Susana for a day of hayrides and horesback riding, as well as a barbecue and folklore show featuring live music and dancing.
DAY 11. Time for sightseeing and shopping in Buenos Aires before a late afternoon transfer to the airport and overnight flight via Madrid to the UK.
DAY 12. Arrival at the airport.
